This post reminds me of the Frou Frou song from Garden State called "Let Go". I love the line "there's beauty in the breakdown." I am a self-proclaimed control freak who spends too much time analyzing why people do what they do and not what I think is the "right" thing. It's nice to be reminded that it's ok to let go. Thank you!! :)

Oh girl, it took me a very long time to let go of certain things/people. It is very freeing though once you do. For me, I had to learn forgiveness. True forgiveness. It was tough, but I am such a better person now.

Try reading The Happiness Project and really working through it. It helped me.

I am RIGHT THERE with you on this. Not exactly in the same way, but I too am a control freak. When I can't fix things or make things go exactly as planned, I have mini anxiety attacks in my head. Thank you for this reminder that it's OKAY and that we all deserve a break once in a while :)
